Your Piece of Paradise
Lightwater Tarns Country Park accommodates luxury homes over a 5-acre area in the Lake District. At our luxury holiday home park, you can own your own space, knowing you can take a break whenever you wish as we have a 12 month Holiday Season
After enjoying weeks of glorious sunshine we are now grateful for the rain showers helping to bring the plants and grass back to life.
The latest news is that one of our resident deer with a new baby fawn has been sighted which is very exciting! (we are yet to see the pair but keeping our eyes peeled) We also have a duck with 11 little ducklings on the tarn.
Good Morning Everyone,
It is a beautiful March morning - We have come out the other side of storms - Ciara, Dennis, and Jorge ........ relatively unscathed and are looking ahead to long dreamy summer evenings.
We have a lovely mix of used holiday homes available for anyone looking to purchase a new caravan or lodge - from £35,000 and we would be more than happy to show any prospective customers around our park and answer any questions.
It is that time of the year again where the leaves are starting to turn, the birds are heading south and the David Bellamy Award Winners are announced!
We are very proud to of retained our Gold Award for another year , alongside our Bee Friendly Park award.
Each year the David Bellamy Award focuses on a specific area , last year the area was Hedgerows which we won the award for, this year the focus has been on Wildflower Habits, which we are very pleased to announce we have been given that award also.
Firstly let us start by saying a very Happy New Year from us all at Lightwater Tarns Country Park - It's currently feeling very wintery here as we have snow on the ground - everywhere is so pretty! But signs of spring are starting to appear. Our lovely lodge owners who are on site currently are enjoying being very cosy in their holiday homes (Modern insulation is a fantastic thing!) - another perk to us having a 12 month season as most Lake District Holiday Parks are currently closed.
If you are looking for your dream holiday home location, Lightwater Tarns Country Park have only 2 pitches available for new holiday homes and we have some FANTASTIC options ideal for you! We are on the edge of the beautiful LAKE DISTRICT and have a 12 MONTH SEASON - meaning you are free to visit your holiday home as much as you wish!
WE CAN SOURCE NEW LODGES OR CARAVANS AROUND YOUR BUDGET FROM VARIOUS MANUFACTURERS

We are very excited to announce we have been shortlisted as a finalist for the Cumbria Family Business Award 2017 in the category of Agriculture, Forestry and Farming. . An astonishing achievement which we completely didn't expect!
